It’s been nine years nice I started playing D&D and I had the good fortune when I was starting out to stumble across this image when I was looking for a character picture for my cleric. It’s by Dragos Stanculescu and can be found here: http://www.elfwood.com/~dragos/2004-Dnd-Archetypes-Halfling-Female.2695290.html
He also has a few other nice drawings of women in reasonable armor.
Sorry if you already have this image up here. I did a search and couldn’t find it.
[BiA here: I did not have this image up here! I have not seen it before! Truly lovely! I will raid this site! Everyone check this artist out! Thank you for the story AND the image! -OUT]

Rose from my series, “Legend of the Iron Flower.” “Monstrous brute with a gentle heart” would aptly describe her; she has an enormous damage soak and is able to tank even normally fatal wounds, but still wears practical armor (and has covered arms in the actual books).

You can send your projects, too! You’ve seen my project uploaded, now send your own! It doesn’t have to be real metal. I will post cosplays and costume armor alongside armor of leather or metal varieties! You can submit by clicking “Submit a Babe” above, or emailing your submission to babeinarmor@gmail.com. If the project is not your own, please cite it, or state that you are unsure where it comes from.
I have no problem accepting images of individual pieces if you made them. For instance, a cool plate glove, or chain boots. I’m all about promoting DIY! Unfinished projects are also okay. Feel free to drop a link to your blog, photostream, or other source with ongoing updates. Also, feel free to send photos as the project comes further along.
As a matter of fact, simply sending links to your armor or DIY costuming blog or Youtube channel is okay, too - as long as it is on-topic.
The rules:
- Project must be modeled on, or made for, a female.
- Armor must cover 75%-80% (or more) of intended area, even if decorative (for instance, my chain shirt was intended as torso armor- this rule is flexible, but I stand by my full armor creed)
- If sending a picture of a small item you made (a glove, for instance) please be clothed. Sounds silly, but this happens.

Do not use images or words on this blog without citing the source.
I cannot say it more plainly than that. Every image on this blog is cited, either through a link, words in the description, or a “source” through Tumblr. If you take an image for your own website, article, or simply reblog it, do not remove the source. It is also okay to write a new citation in your site’s style.
If I, or one of my followers, is responding to a query, or posting something on the site, do not take their original words without crediting it to them.
I know the internet age isn’t conducive to strictly adhering to copy right law, but we can at least give credit where it’s due.
Thank you!

Since you asked, enjoy some Fire Emblem, which is wonderful and full of gender-equal armour and much female badassery. Titania is definitely one of my favourites, both in terms of characterization and design.
THANK YOU!! <3 <3 <3 -BiA

“Red Sonya” by DonatoArts on DeviantArt
This one isn’t covered enough for me to feel comfortable calling it a Babe in True Armor. However, Red Sonja in anything but her classic chainmail bikini has got my vote!
